A total of five modules, lasting seven hours each, must be submitted to the driver and vehicle licensing agency.
You must complete at least one module from each of the three areas of knowledge specified by law. You are free to select the two remaining modules from any area of knowledge. You should not however complete any one module twice.
Go to the responsible driver and vehicle licensing agency well in advance of the expiry date with all five modules (certificates) and have entry 95 extended.
In principle, all certificates are valid for no more than five years. A type of transitional rule applies to the first extension, for which the certificates may be no more than eight years old.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details: first name, surname, date of event, venue of event, module and shipping address.
The so-called tradesperson's rule is an exception (see §1 "Area of application" Paragraph 2 Point 5 of the law governing the qualification of professional drivers (BKrFQG)). This states that the BKrFQG does not apply to journeys with "vehicles for the transport of material or equipment that the driver is using for his or her work, provided that driving the vehicle is not his or her main occupation."
