Aftercare Response, part of the Bevan Group, has taken delivery of three New MAN TGE vans.

Based in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, Bevan Group’s Aftercare Response maintains and repairs commercial vehicle bodies and ancillaries. Its 40 field-based engineers provide commercial vehicle operators throughout the UK with both planned and emergency support covering bodywork of all kinds, as well as servicing equipment such as cranes, tail lifts, roller shutter doors and curtains.

Aftercare Responses New TGE’s are all 3.0-tonne models and are powered by latest-generation 103kW (140hp) low-emission 2.0-litre turbo diesel engines. Their 3,640mm standard wheelbase, high roof bodies, are lined and carry servicing equipment required including mobile MIG welders, generators, compressors and access ladders.

Simon Dryburgh, Aftercare Response Director, said: “Our highly skilled and qualified Aftercare Response engineers provide excellent customer service 24/7 across the UK. In order to maintain, and where possible surpass, our customers’ expectations, we needed a like-minded vehicle manufacturer whose product attributes support our values; these being reliability, efficiency and quality.”

The vehicles have been supplied through MAN Financial Services on a 36-month Contract Hire and are covered by MAN’s Gold Cover Repair and Maintenance packages. MAN ServiceContract Gold comprehensively covers all service and inspection work, regular maintenance and fair wear and tear repairs. The trio are also supported by MAN’s Mobile24 24-hour breakdown service, which guarantees 24/7 emergency roadside assistance 365 days of the year.

Simon continues: “We attended the MAN TGE ride and drive event where we tested the new vehicle for ourselves and to say we were impressed is an understatement. The vehicles’ standard specification will rival anything in the market and the high level of comfort will ensure our engineers are both safe and fresh when they attend a customer callout.

“Due to the nature of Aftercare Response’s work, when customer’s call it’s often an emergency and for this reason it’s crucial that we can rely on the reliability and efficiency of our fleet,” concluded Anthony.

The TGE’s were PDI’d by MAN’s Aquila Truck Centre, based in West Bromwich, Tipton. As part of the Nationwide Aftercare Response fleet the individual vehicles servicing needs will be catered for through MAN’s Truck & Bus Nationwide dealer network.

The TGE’s, which wear the Aftercare Response’s white and green livery, were supplied by MAN’s Light Commercial Vehicle Sales Specialist, Georgie Harvey, who commented: “We are delighted to have supplied Aftercare Response with their first MAN TGE‘s.

“The Bevan Group have partnered us over the years supplying bodies on a number of customer vehicles. We’re sure the new vans will serve them well in this demanding response role and we look forward to continuing our excellent working relationship.”
