MAN wins iF Gold Award 2012 for IAA appearance
Jury praises dynamic presentation of MAN trucks, buses and engines at world's leading commercial-vehicle show in Hanover.
MAN Truck & Bus' appearance at the world's largest commercial-vehicle show, the IAA in Hanover, has brought the company the renowned "iF communication design award 2012". In the words of the jury: "On this stand the focus is one hundred per cent on the product: the vehicles were displayed simply but very effectively in a way that aided orientation. The visitor has a good overview right from the start – it's dynamic and clearly arranged at the same time". One of over 1,000 projects entered for the competition, MAN's stand at the IAA 2010 carried off the top accolade in the "corporate architecture" category. The "iF communication design award" has been presented since 2004 and has in the meantime established itself as one of the leading national and international competitions.
"Clear positioning for our wide range of vehicles and a closeness to customers that they could feel all the time – those were the goals of our appearance at the IAA 2010. We are very proud that a jury of proven experts has acknowledged our work with the highest accolade," said Sascha Jennewein, Manager Fairs & Events at MAN Truck & Bus, at the handover ceremony in Munich. "That's an encouragement for our appearance at the world's largest commercial-vehicle show, the IAA 2012, which will be held in Hanover in September".
