MAN Communications - Lampersbach to hand over to Klingner
As of April 1, 2015, Andreas Lampersbach (52), Head of MAN Communications, will be taking over as manager of the "Corporate and Business Communications Department" at Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg. Mr. Lampersbach has been in charge of global communications at the Munich-based commercial vehicles and engineering company MAN SE since 2009. Sacha Klingner (43), the present Deputy Head of Communications, will take over as acting Head of Corporate Communications at MAN.
"For many years, Andreas Lampersbach has played a major role in shaping communications activities at MAN and has made a significant contribution to the company´s good reputation. Under his management, we have been very successful in modernizing the MAN brand. The Executive Board would like to thank Andreas Lampersbach for his excellent work," stated Dr. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen, Chief Executive Officer of MAN SE.
"Sacha Klingner knows the company well and, as a qualified communications expert, will continue to successfully carry out this assignment," says Mr. Pachta-Reyhofen. Mr. Klingner, a lawyer and journalist, has worked for the MAN Group since 2006 and is currently Head of Public Relations & Publishing at MAN SE. He previously held responsible positions with the Bauer Media Group, Hubert Burda Media and in the Communications Department at Telefónica.
