Jörg Astalosch appointed Chief Financial Officer of MAN Truck & Bus AG
The Supervisory Board of MAN Truck & Bus AG has appointed Jörg Astalosch as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He is to take over Karl Gadesmann’s responsibilities as of January 1, 2012.
Jörg Astalosch joins the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus AG from AUDI AG. Astalosch is a qualified electronics engineer with a degree in engineering from a university of applied sciences. The 39-year-old worked for Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg and Austria from 1995 onwards, during which time he obtained a degree in industrial engineering from a university of applied sciences as well as an MBA. From 2004, he worked for AUDI AG in the USA and in Ingolstadt. From 1999 to 2004 and 2007 to 2011, he worked for Professor Dr. Ferdinand K. Piëch, most recently in the support team for the Chairman of the Volkswagen AG and MAN SE Supervisory Boards.
